Advertising Policy

Paid advertisements, sponsorships, sample advertisements, and promotional material are kept separate from Truth in Focus editorial decisions and are clearly labeled for readers.

Buying an advertisement does not guarantee news coverage, favorable treatment, endorsement, or influence over reporting. Truth in Focus may decline or remove advertising that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, unsafe, discriminatory, incompatible with the publication’s standards, or likely to confuse readers about the difference between advertising and journalism.

Test or demonstration ads used while the advertising system is being built should be labeled Sample Advertisement, Demo Ad, or similar wording. Ad impressions and outbound clicks may be counted in private first-party analytics so advertisers and the newsroom can evaluate placement performance.

Advertising terms, rates, billing, contracts, and final acceptance procedures remain subject to separate agreement.
